From Ares's Throne to Zeus's Bed

Althea, a mortal princess, is handed over in marriage to the temple of Ares, the god of war, a union she never chose. Her wedding day arrives with the weight of duty pressing down on her, and the sudden shift in her fate sets the story in motion. The source ends mid-thought at the ceremony, so the account stops there, with Althea bound to a divine household she did not expect to enter.
