From Abused Housewife to Star

Evelyn Foster spent more than twenty years as a housewife, enduring physical abuse and cruel verbal insults at home. Her hard life has left her worn down, and she has little sense that a different future is within reach. The story follows her long road from that painful marriage toward a new beginning, where she begins to find her own strength and the courage to choose herself.
