For Saken Son: Rise of the War God

Kael was born with strength enough to shake mountains, and his mother Lyra sealed his chest with blood to hide him from jealous gods. Years later he is a scorned illegitimate son in the Spartan lord's household. When the Persian envoy Xerion arrives with the giant Urag and demands that Selene, the grand elder's granddaughter, be taken, Sparta is forced to bow and Aristos dies in battle. Kael finally drops his disguise to save Selene, but Persian King Xerxes marches to the border in rage, and Kael must lead 300 warriors to Thermopylae Pass.
