Enough with the Toxic Love

Alvin Kirkland and Nahla Snider have been close since childhood, sharing two decades of memories and a plan to get engaged on Alvin's 25th birthday. On the day he expected to propose, Alvin catches Nahla posing for couple photos with Jared Whitehead, a younger student from college. Nahla waves the moment off and keeps defending Jared, expecting Alvin to simply accept it. Worn down by her dismissiveness, Alvin ends things with a note and accepts a job overseas.
