The Poisonous Consort

Olivia Doyle wakes up in ancient times inside the body of a disinherited legitimate daughter who shares her name. Before she can gather her bearings, maids jab her with a poisoned needle and shove her off a cliff. She lands in a pool below, where Noah Goodwin is recuperating, and he is forced to pull her out after she clings to him. As they tend to each other's wounds and poison, a sudden ambush of assassins threatens them, and Olivia's bold response leaves them both shaken. Their brief meeting quietly sparks a subtle bond between them.
