The Discard

Caleb is a lowly disciple whose Five-Element Mixed Spirit Root marks him as useless in a world where raw strength decides who rises and who is left behind. Dismissed and pushed to the edge of the sect, he must find his own path in an ancient realm that values power above all else. The story establishes a young man determined to prove that a discarded talent can still matter, even as the people around him see only his weakness.
