Shadow of the Black Dragon

Lillian Frost once called forth a creature that the whole room mocked as a mere lizard. Those who laughed at her no longer find anything funny, because the creature is revealed to be something far more powerful than anyone expected. Lillian's humiliation becomes the spark for a dramatic reversal, as the same people who once dismissed her are forced to reckon with the being she brought into the world. Set in the present day, the story follows the rise of a woman whose fortunes shift in ways no one around her saw coming.
