Crimson Stain

Nick Carter was cast out by his family because he chose to marry for love. Together with Zoe Long, he labored to build savings for their future wedding, until a sudden heart attack upended their plans. To pay for his treatment, Zoe was compelled to walk away, and Nick was left believing she had betrayed him. Five years later, the two cross paths at an art exhibition, where Zoe discovers he is about to wed and decides to keep the truth to herself. Nick, however, is determined not to let her disappear from his life a second time.
