Counting Pennies,Losing Daughters

On Christmas Eve, Helena collapses from malnutrition and lands in the hospital, a sharp sign of how little her parents have cared for her. Her family has always weighed every coin and put her needs last, and now they refuse to pay for the treatment that could save her. The story follows Helena as she faces a household that values money over the daughter it has neglected, and as she begins to turn the tables on those who wronged her.
