Bride Swaps Groom on the Spot

Seven years into a marriage with the wrong man, a woman finds herself at the altar on her wedding day, and in a single moment she reaches out to the person who has been waiting for her. Her text, sent at 8:58, opens a path away from the life she had settled into. The story follows her decision to break from the match that never fit and turn toward the love she should have chosen long ago. Her choice sets up a conflict with everyone who expected her to go through with the ceremony.
