Bound by Contract, Conquered by Love

Cynthia is determined to protect her younger sister, who has a disability, from a cruel stepmother who makes their home a hard place to live. Her search for a way out of that household runs into trouble when a job interview goes badly, leaving her with fewer options than she hoped. The story sets up a tense bond between Cynthia and the forces working against her, and the pressure to keep her sister safe grows with every setback.
