Betrayed by Family, Crowned by Nature

After being humiliated by his own son and daughter-in-law, a fifty-year-old forager packs up and heads back to the mountains where he once made his living. Surrounded by wild terrain and the quiet rhythm of gathering, he begins to rebuild himself far from the family that turned against him. The story follows his slow return to the land and the bitter memories that still follow him into the wilderness.
