Betrayal and Rebirth

Seven years ago, Lyra's adopted sister Selene, a fragile Omega, drove drunk and caused a hit-and-run that spilled blood across the Human Territory Border. Rather than let the frail Selene face Silvermoon Penitentiary, where her wolf might not survive, the family pressed Lyra to take her place. When she refused, her Alpha father used Alpha Command to overpower her will and sent her to the prison transport himself. Her fated mate Kaelen, the Pack's strongest Alpha, let her go with a promise to finish their Mate bond once she was free.
