Back to the Day We Met

Vivienne Thorne was pulled out of the slums by Lucas Thorne, and she spent ten years rising to become a leading scientist. In secret, she has been building a device meant to send her back in time. The source ends mid-sentence there, so the story stops at that point: her quiet work toward a machine that could carry her back to the day she first met Lucas, and the weight of what she hopes to change.
