A Promise of Home, A Debt of Love

Claire Lane was once the sharpest lawyer in Seaton, until she was locked away for the supposed killing of Vivian Parks, the fiancée of the influential Victor Wells. Three years on, she has been released and now sweeps the city streets for a living. When Victor visits his late father's grave dressed in shabby clothes, she takes him for a homeless man and brings him back to her home. She treats him like a kid brother, yet Victor begins to fall for her without her knowing who he truly is.
