A Mother's Cruel Mistake

On the day she wins admission to Quinbert University, high school graduate Annie Xavier is killed in an accident. Her mother's harsh choices toward her are what the story builds toward, as a family drama about misunderstanding, regret and a long reckoning. The source premise breaks off just as the mother's role comes into focus, so the drama's early weight rests on Annie's sudden loss and the wounds left inside her home.
