A Debt of Heads

In the late nineteenth century, deep in the Scottish Highlands, Malcolm works his family's rented farmland with a practical, no-nonsense outlook. One thick, grey morning in the fog he crosses paths with Alistair, a mysterious drifter whose past seems as hidden as the hills around them. Their chance meeting sets Malcolm on a path where his careful plans and his guarded heart are suddenly tested.
