10-Year Term Up: Hail the Imperial's Release!

Roland Price once held the title of Imperialward of The Netherhold, a position of great power that he has now left behind. He came back to fulfill a marriage contract, only to find himself betrayed by the very people who should have stood by him. The clipped account leaves the full scope of that betrayal unclear, but it establishes a man who returned trusting in a promise and was wronged in return. His homecoming sets the stage for a story of wounded pride and a reckoning with those who turned on him.
